Fr. Mike Ordination ClericsFr Mike Perucho – Born and raised in Northern California, Fr. Michael Perucho moved to Los Angeles as he attend and graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Masters in Education. He taught high school chemistry and physics for 3 years at Junipero Serra High School as part of the PLACE Corps program. In fall 2005, he entered St. John’s Seminary eventually graduating with a Master of Arts in Moral Theology and a Masters in Divinity. He was ordained a deacon on November 20, 2010 and ordained to the Sacred Order of Priesthood on June 4, 2011. His first assignment was at Holy Family, Glendale where he served as associate pastor. He also was given the task to work with the vocations office as Deanery Vocation Director and currently serves as Regional Vocation Director for the San Fernando Region. On July 1, 2014 he began his term as administrator of Our Lady of Peace, North Hills. He enjoys playing and watching sports, especially all of his championship teams from Northern California (SF Giants ’10, ’12, ’14 and Golden State Warriors ’15).
